Austin Bradley
Austin is a multi-award-winning expedition and adventure sports photographer based in the United Kingdom. Working across photography and documentary filmmaking, he specialises in showing the stories from some of the world's most demanding environments, collaborating with athletes, scientists and explorers to reveal the relationship between human adventure and nature.
Originally drawn to photography following a football ACL injury, Austin combined his passion for sport with visual storytelling. What began at a local motorsport circuit has evolved into documenting expeditions, highlining, climbing, sailing, cycling and other adventure sports, with work spanning glaciers, coastlines, mountains and remote landscapes.
His recent projects have focused increasingly on environmental storytelling. In 2026, Austin led an expedition to Iceland documenting what is believed to be the first freestyle highline rigged directly into the ice of Sólheimajökull glacier. The 57- metre line was designed to represent approximately one year's glacial retreat, creating a visual interpretation of climate change that forms the basis of an upcoming documentary. Out soon…
Austin's work has appeared in magazines, exhibitions and editorial publications, and he has photographed events including the British Grand Prix, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, the International Cliff Diving Championships, and elite university sport across the UK. His photography has been recognised with the British Sports Photography Awards and a finalist in the World Sports Photography Awards.
With experience working in technical environments, Austin is comfortable operating in locations that require climbing, scrambling, glacial travel, sailing enviroments and expedition logistics.
